Hyperledger corporate blockchain. Miroslav Ivachov, the Head of IBM Technical Department explained a meaning of Hyperledger and the way it can help companies to create private blockchain.

As an example he told about FoodTrust company which uses blockchain to track the whole supply chain from manufacturer to retailer of food products. Thanks to this technology FoodTrust can provide clients with all the necessary information about the product — certificates, freshness, origin and content.

Safe data storage. Michael Schloh von Bennewitz, the Head of Monero Hardware Department explained the way blockchain can be used for safe data storage on hard disks.

He also highlighted other industries which can use blockchain for their good today — logistics, monitoring supply chains, warehouse management etc.

Startups and Project in Demo Zone

Along with discussion of blockchain future participants and speakers also had an opportunity to get acquainted with several startups that pitched their projects in the demo zone.
